At our centre, families have the choice between two different pathways for service:
(1) Standard Pathway - Through this service option, families attend
programs at our centre tailored to one specific treatment area.
Families can seek services in ABA, Speech Therapy or Occupational
Therapy. This is the ideal choice for families who only require one
service level for treatment.
(2) Multi-Disciplinary Pathways - Through this service option service
is conducted by a "Team" of professionals with expertise in different,
specific areas. The team consists of ABA Therapists, a Speech Language
Pathologist and an Occupational Therapist. Through joint collaborative
work, programs are developed, interventions are put in place and
assessments are conducted in a comprehensive approach. This provides
the opportunities for input from professionals who specialize in
certain areas. Therefore, the Occupational Therapist will provide
feedback and assessment for motor skills, life skills. The Speech
Pathologist will provide input on language acquisiton and oral motor
development. The ABA therapits will provide intervention for behaviour
management, learning processes and appropriate development.
